Air Canada will relaunch its Aeroplan program on 08 November. Most award levels will slightly increase, but fuel surcharges will be scrapped. All bookings on partner airlines will become subject to a fee of 39 CAD.


Air Seychelles has left the program Etihad Guest and offers thus no longer any possibility for mileage accrual to frequent flyers at all at this point.


As of today, miles no longer expire in the Qatar Airways program Privilege Club provided an account activity at least every 36 months.


The rules of the mileage expiry in Air Canada's Aeroplan program have been adjusted: Instead of 12 months, an account activity is now required only every 18 months in order to prevent miles from expiring.


Azul is a new partner in the Aeroplan program. Award flights with Azul can thereby be combined with Star Alliance partners within the same award.


Vistara will become a new redemption partner in the Japan Airlines program JAL Mileage Bank as of 01 July.
